Our client, a newly launched online casino operator, partnered with Aphex Media in December 2022 with the goal of establishing a strong organic presence in an extremely competitive niche. At the time, the brand was just entering the market and relied solely on link building to fuel its initial growth.

Phase 1: Authority Building with Instalinko 

(Jan 2023 – April 2024) 

For over a year, the client worked with us exclusively on link building. Through our in-house service Instalinko, we delivered a consistent volume of high-authority backlinks, supplemented with Tier 2 links for a natural profile. This foundational work allowed the domain to gradually gain authority and trust across the iGaming landscape.

Phase 2: Full SEO Engagement & Technical Overhaul 

(April 2024 – August 2024) 

In April 2024, the client onboarded Aphex Media for full-service SEO. We began with an exhaustive SEO audit to uncover technical barriers, and we quickly identified several platform-related limitations stemming from the client’s use of a popular but rigid casino software.

Despite these constraints, we designed a smart and tailored strategy to get the most out of what we could control.

Technical Fixes Implemented:

  • Site Architecture: We completely restructured the website to improve crawlability and UX.
  • Rendering & Crawl Budget: Resolved JavaScript rendering issues and optimized crawl paths.
  • Sitemaps & Robots.txt: Removed bloat from level-3 pages, updated sitemap priorities, and implemented dynamic robot directives.
  • Meta Tag Management: Utilized “meta unavailable after” and other strategic tags to reduce unnecessary crawls of sports match pages.

Phase 3: Onsite SEO Rollout 

(July 2024 – Sept 2024) 

With the technical SEO groundwork complete, we shifted our focus to onsite optimization:

  • Optimized page titles, meta descriptions, and content hierarchy
  • Created interlinking structures with keyword-driven anchor text
  • Rolled out structured data/schema across key commercial and info pages
  • Implemented topical clustering and entity-based content development

By September 2024, the website had transformed from a crawling and rendering mess into a clean, crawlable, and content-rich platform.

Phase 4: Boosting with InstaRankers 

(Dec 2024 – Feb 2025)

In December 2024, we introduced our viral traffic product InstaRankers to deliver algorithmic nudges to high-priority pages. We ran a series of light but consistent geo-targeted boosts across January and February to:

  • Trigger increased re-crawls
  • Generate engagement signals
  • Help stubborn pages break out of position stagnation

Although limited in quantity (just a few per month), the boosts created noticeable spikes in activity and gave the client the confidence to reinvest heavily in March.
